About

Alexandra is a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi) and Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Alexandra has over 15 years of practice supporting young adults and adults to improve their mental health and wellbeing. She offers compassionate, evidence-based psychological therapy that goes beyond symptom management, focusing on meaningful change, self-understanding, and building a life that feels fulfilling and sustainable.

Alexandra provides a safe, supportive, and reparative therapeutic environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop insight, and learn practical skills to support long-term emotional wellbeing. She works collaboratively with each individual, tailoring therapy to meet their unique needs, goals, and life circumstances. She has extensive experience supporting individuals with ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, domestic and family violence, perinatal mental health, chronic illness, sleep difficulties, and end-of-life support.

Therapeutic Approach

Alexandra works in a neuro-affirming way, drawing on a broad range of therapeutic approaches including: EMDR, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, positive psychology, and interpersonal supportive counselling. Alexandra has an interest in sleep disorders and training in applying CBT for insomnia.

With a strong commitment to ethical, client-centred practice, Alexandra aims to help people feel understood, empowered, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.

Qualifications

Alexandra has training in psychology as well as a Master of Brain and Mind Sciences, which has been beneficial to the therapeutic process by integrating neuroscience to assist understanding and healing processes.
